Terms of service

Parlor checks where a company shows up on Google, Bing and AI assistants, and helps fix what it finds. These are the terms between you and Parlor when you use it. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. Updated 16 October 2026.

The short version

What Parlor is

Parlor asks search engines and AI assistants the questions buyers ask about your category, reads the answers, reads the public pages of your site, and turns all of that into a report, a score and suggested fixes. Scores are worked out by fixed rules, not by a model. A report describes what the assistants and search engines said on the day of the check. They change their answers often, so a later check can differ without anything having changed on your side.

Parlor does not control Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini or any other service it reads from, and cannot make any of them mention, recommend or rank your company. Anything that looks like a prediction on a report is an observation about the past, written with that in mind.

Paying for Parlor

Fair use

Use Parlor for sites you are allowed to speak for. Do not try to pull other people's reports, overload the service, or take the service apart to copy it. We may pause an account that does, and we say so when we do.

Other people's services

Parlor reads from and writes to services you connect or that are public: Google, Bing, the AI assistants, WordPress, and sign-in through Clerk. Each of those runs under its own terms, which apply to you as their user. Parlor is not responsible for what they answer, for their outages, or for changes they make.

What we are responsible for, and what we are not

We work to keep Parlor accurate and running, and to tell you plainly when something went wrong. Parlor is provided as it is, without a promise that it is free of mistakes or always available. To the extent the law allows, Parlor's responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid Parlor in the twelve months before the claim, and Parlor is not responsible for lost profit, lost sales or other indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not let us limit.

Ending things

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the page says what changed. If a change affects what you pay or what Parlor may do on your site, we email you before it takes effect, and you can close your account instead of accepting it.

Who we are
