Pipeline live · refreshes every 6 hours

Find your next domain opportunity.

parlor.io is a domain intelligence service that ranks expired domains by SEO authority. Every six hours we ingest auction feeds and zone files, score each domain on seven signals (age, Wayback longevity, Moz authority, traffic, RDAP, brandability, spam), and hand you a filtered shortlist of the few worth bidding on.

The mess we clean up

Hunting expired domains is mostly filtering noise.

Every week, millions of domains drop from the registry. The vast majority are throwaway names registered for spam, link farms, or dropshipping. Finding the few with real SEO value is full-time work — that’s the part Parlor automates.

The signal-to-noise problem

99% of expired domains are junk.

Newly-registered throwaways, hyphen-stuffed spam, parked nonsense, blacklisted TLDs. Manually triaging the daily drop list is a job in itself — one most operators give up on after a week.

The research tax

Hours per domain to verify quality.

Check Wayback for crawl history. Pull Moz DA. Cross-reference Majestic backlinks. Verify Spamhaus + SURBL clearance. Confirm the auction end date hasn’t already passed. Multiply by every candidate. The math doesn’t work.

👀
The bidding-blind problem

You don’t know what you’re buying.

A 23-year-old domain with 800 backlinks looks like gold — until the spam score reveals it was a casino farm in 2019. Without a unified score, you’re guessing whether SEO equity actually transfers.

📊
The age-vs-value mismatch

Old isn’t enough. Aged + authority is.

A 15-year-old domain with no backlinks isn’t valuable. A 12-year-old with 200 referring domains and a clean spam record is. We score for the second, not just the first.

We do all of this for you, every six hours — and hand you a ranked list of only the survivors.

How it works

From raw zone files to ranked opportunities, automatically.

We pull from every source that matters, dedupe, score, and surface only the domains with real authority. No spreadsheets. No 3am Wayback rabbit holes.

The score

Seven signals. One number.

Most expired-domain tools give you a backlink count and call it a day. Our score combines authority, traffic, longevity, and demand into a single rank-able number — so you can stop second-guessing.

i.
Link authority (0–30) Moz DA, OpenPageRank, Majestic Trust Flow when present.
ii.
CDX depth (0–15) Wayback snapshot count — a proxy for crawled history.
iii.
Domain age (0–20) Years since the first archived crawl. Older = stickier.
iv.
Traffic (0–15) Tranco top-1M rank, falls back to CDX-derived estimate.
v.
Niche demand (0–10) Datamuse keyword expansion against high-demand verticals.
vi.
TLD signal (0–5) Whitelist .com/.net/.io/.ai bonus, blacklist penalty.
vii.
Spam clearance (0–5) DHS DNS check + Moz spam score. Junk gets dropped, not buried.

From the founder

Built because I needed it.

Parlor is in early access. Real customer testimonials are coming as the first users come on board. In the meantime, here’s the short version of why it exists.

I’ve been hunting expired domains as part of my own SEO work for years — and every weekend was the same loop: scrape registry drop lists, paste into a spreadsheet, manually check Wayback for crawl history, look up DA on Moz, cross-reference Majestic, ditch the spam-flagged ones, repeat. Hours of triage to find one or two domains worth bidding on.

The signal-to-noise problem is brutal. Millions of domains drop every week and almost all of them are throwaway names. The handful that have aged well, hold authority, and aren’t blacklisted are buried under a mountain of noise. No tool I tried surfaced the survivors cleanly — they all returned the firehose with one or two metrics bolted on.

So I built Parlor for myself first. The pipeline runs every six hours, scores on seven signals, and gives me back a ranked list. It saved me enough time on my own work that it felt selfish not to share. Now it’s open to anyone — the tool I wish I’d had four years ago.

FAQ

Common questions.

Short answers. Click any question to expand.

How often is the data refreshed?
Every six hours. Auctions, Wayback snapshots, RDAP records, and authority signals are pulled fresh and re-scored automatically — so the list you see at 9 a.m. is genuinely different from the one you saw at 3 a.m.
What signals does the score combine?
Seven signals add up to a maximum of 100 points: domain age, Wayback longevity, Moz Domain Authority, traffic proxies, RDAP integrity, brandability, and a spam penalty. Domains scoring below 25 are filtered out before they ever reach you.
Where does parlor.io get its data?
ICANN zone files, GoDaddy auctions, ICANN OpenData, the Moz Domain Authority API, the Wayback Machine CDX API, and RDAP. All sources are public — we just merge, dedup, score, and rank them so you don’t have to.
How is parlor.io different from ExpiredDomains.net or DomCop?
Those services give you a firehose. parlor.io gives you a filtered shortlist. We score every domain on seven signals, hard-reject spam and junk TLDs at ingest, and only surface the few worth your bidding time. Less noise, fewer dead ends.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is month-to-month with no commitment — cancel from your account page and you keep access through the end of the billing period.
Do I bid on domains through parlor.io?
Not yet. Each ranked domain links straight to its source listing on GoDaddy or Namecheap so you can bid in one click. Direct in-app bidding is on the roadmap.
Why expired domains
The SEO Advantage is Already Built In When you register an expired domain with existing authority, you're inheriting years of SEO equity. An aged domain that previously hosted quality content often retains valuable backlinks, domain authority metrics, and trust signals that new domains take years to build. This matters because search engines favor established domains. You skip the sandbox period and start with existing credibility.
